❖ The Brama Naady Family History
We belong to a family of Astrology. My name is G.K. Ravi. Naady astrology is a special wing in the field of astrology, and my grandfather, Sri A. Swamy Sachidhanandham, was its pioneer. Several people across India benefited from his readings and he was successful throughout his career. Moreover, he was the only person of his time to raise many disciples in this field. His disciple Sri V.S. Arulsiva Arumugam (my maternal uncle) was the first disciple, who spread Naady Astrology worldwide. Guruji Sri V.S. Arulsiva Arumugam had many disciples, and my father Sri G. Kaliyamoorthy was the first and most beloved among them. He mastered the science in every nook and corner with the grace of his Guru, becoming powerful and efficient in the field of Naady Astrology — and he was my first Guru in astrology.
In 1974, at the invitation of Tamilians settled in Malaysia, my father travelled to Malaysia and won the hearts of several clients across every aspect of life. This brought remarkable fame to my father and helped Naady Astrology spread far and wide. On his return from Malaysia, he opened the Naady Astrological Centre at Trichy, Tamil Nadu. By 1982, Naady Astrology had earned worldwide renown. In that period, Sri Soorya Prakasham — researcher and Chief Editor of the famous Tamil magazine Manjari — visited my father, presenting himself as an ordinary seeker who had come for a reading. He was immensely astonished by the accuracy of the predictions and developed great respect for my father. After his research into Naady Astrology, the editor wrote the celebrated article “Vidiyin Edughal” (“The Pages of Fate”), documenting the miracles and history of Naady Astrology — mentioning my father by name and publishing his office address, which further added to his success and fame.
Sri Ravichandran, a journalist, reporter and researcher who runs the “Astrology Research Centre” (a native of Vikranvaandi, Tamil Nadu), was deeply moved by my father’s readings. He wrote the article “Munivarin Suvadighalum Murpiravi Unmaighalum” (“The Enlightened Sage’s Palm Leaves and the Truths of Previous Birth”), publishing the full details of Naady Astrology and its benefits to the people. He also wrote another article, “Ungal Edhirghalam” (“Your Future”), in daily magazines.
